Made properly

The pendant is hand-finished brass beneath silver plating, which gives it real weight rather than the hollow feel of stamped alternatives.

Caring for it

Put it on last and take it off first. Keep it away from perfume, lotion and chlorine, and store it dry. A soft cloth brings back the shine. Skip jewellery dips and abrasives, which strip plating over time.

Wearing it

Wear it on its own against a bare neckline, or layer it over a shorter chain for contrast. It sits comfortably under a collar and will not snag on knitwear.
